Creatine Nitrate is a Creatine with a chemically bonded Nitrate molecule. Creatine Nitrate is one of the two most soluble and bioavailable Creatines. It causes immense intracellular hydration (water retention inside muscle cells) instead outside of them.

But the really radical difference is that Nitrate stimulates Nitric Oxide (NO) production via an entirely different mechanism than traditional NO stimulants (the Arginine family). In addition to the "Arginine-NO Synthase" pathway, SWOLEX also "blows up" the "Nitrate-Nitrite-Nitric Oxide" pathway that doesn't require the NOS enzyme that can down-regulate. The Nitrate pathway is more favorable, especially in acidic and hypoxic conditions and according to scientist: "The nitrate-nitrite-NO pathway is emerging as an important mediator of blood flow regulation, cell signaling, energetics and tissue responses to hypoxia."
